Hi All,
Since my last entry, I picked myself up off the floor, and started making calls. I have an appointment to see a surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center ( which is supposed to be one of the best places in the world for revision surgeries. ) I will be seeing the Chief of the dept there.
My appt. is for May 8th. I am not looking forward to a 3.5 hour bus ride, just to get to the city, and then having to take the subway, but I am determined to get thru this.
Has anyone out there been to this hospital for the surgery, or have heard about them? Any information would be helpful.
Of course, I will report back after the appt.
Please wish me luck, and pray for me, I need all the help, and support I can get!!!

One step at a time Keith ... you will prevail, just stay focused and your outcome will be positive.

Keith,
This is great news. I am originally from the New York City area, so I am familiar with the Hospital although not specifically the Bariatric Department. The hospital is one of the best in the country and many of my friends and aquaintances have benefitted from their services. You will be in my prayers and you will do just fine now that you have taken action to get better.

I don't know about the hospital, but just wanted to encourage you to hang in there. Just keep plugging away. To me, the hoop jumping to get to surgery is the hardest part!!!

Keith my prayers are with you. I know this is an emotional time for you but you will see this through. Be safe on that long bus ride. Lawd knows I know how it feels to ride a bus for that long. Bring a book.
