Default Been here awhile but never introduced myself

Hi, My name is Josh. i've been big pretty much my adolescent and adult life and want to someday be able to walk a daughter i may have down the isle. So i came to the conclusion that surgery was my only option after all my diets and working out never got me the results i wanted. jan 2nd i went to a seminar. today is april 17th and i had my 2nd dietician visit since bcbs requires 3 in 90 days. but my normal doctor has me visit a dieitician every visit so now i wait to see if i can have all my stuff sent to insurance and get hopefully get the aproval. I'm a good guy with a big heart and always help or care for others before me but i just felt it was time for a little me time. I have diabetes, sleep apnea along with edema in my legs and its just time to get healthy.and thats why i want/need this surgery. I need the tool to be able to live the rest of my life in good health. if anyone would like to know more, just pm me and lets talk

Question Josh

First of all I want to welcome you to TT, and second, why would you say that some people on here don't like you? We haven't gotten a chance to know you, and we are all in this together and for the same reasons....Don't be so hard on yourself...I wish you the best....and I think you are wonderful....Darlene

Welcome Josh - I have seen you name a lot so I feel like I already know you We are all friends here - no need to feel uncomfortable -we are all different, but are here for the same reason, to get to know each other and share in this journey-If we were all the same -How boring would that be -I'm glad you are taking this step - your daughter will be sooooo proud to have you walk down the aisle, no matter what your weight is, but she will be a lot happier to have a dad who can do it comfortably
