Welcome to the forum--and this may be just general self-centeredness or something, but truly, it's not like I got small (it may be the Chihuahua syndrome, you know... where the little dog thinks it's the baddest dog on the block), it's actually more like the world just grew! I have ROOM in my Cavalier seat... and at 5'2", have to seriously sit up straight to see over the steering wheel. At a year and a half out, I'm only now beginning to hold up a size small or extra small and believe that I will fit in it...
When people asked me what convinced me to have the surgery, one of the reasons that I gave was, "When you diet for 30 years and weigh over 300 pounds, you can be pretty sure it's not working."
We look forward to hearing more from you as you move toward your surgery.
