Default Another New Guy -

Hello Everyone!

My journey started on the rough side - operation seemed to go okay until later that day when I suffered a rupture. When I woke up a week later in ICU I learned that I had been drug induced so I don't remember the two surgeries, 12 units of blood, breathing tubes and massive infections.
Since then I have had to learn to stand, walk and talk again. Had a great PT and finally returned to work on a part time basis last week.

On the upside - I have lost 90+ pounds in a little over two months. Strength and muscle tone is starting to return. And I have learned what stays down and what doesn't - LOL

Anyway - I have been reading the site here for several weeks - feel like I know some of you already!

Ron

Hey there! Welcome to the forum! Man, I thought I had a rough start, but compared to you, mine was a walk in the park! Geez! I'm sorry to hear you went through all that! Glad you are on the mend and getting your life back. Congrats on the weight loss...that's a LOT of weight in a short amount of time! Quite the shock to your body! Take care of yourself and keep us posted on your progress.
