I'm New Here and just had surgery April 2
I'm new to the boards and thought I'd say hello. It's been 4 days since surgery for GBP and the first day I'm feeling better. The first few days I kept asking myself why did I do this??? Just today I'm starting to feel better about my decision. I thought I would have all this time once I had my ID to sign on the boards to ask lots of questions, read up on your experiences and prepare mentally for the surgery, but instead I was approved for my surgery by Blue Shield on the first try and scheduled for Surgery 6 days later. So here I am now. I look forward to learning more from you guys on what to expect next.

Lisa, welcome to our forum family and welcome to the losing side. Wow surgery only 6 days after approval??? Your head must still be having a really rough time grasping what just happened to you!! The questioning of "Did I do the right thing?" is totally normal. So many of us asked that same question. We call it "Buyers Remorse". The majority of us experienced it. I'm glad to hear that you are starting to feel better and more sure of your decision. Make sure you keep taking care of yourself and when the questions come, know that we are here.

Wow, 6 days later! That is crazy. There are some people that wait 6 months or even a lot more.
I wish you a speedy recovery!
