I thought I would have all this time once I had my ID to sign on the boards to ask lots of questions, read up on your experiences and prepare mentally for the surgery, but instead I was approved for my surgery by Blue Shield on the first try and scheduled for Surgery 6 days later. So here I am now. I look forward to learning more from you guys on what to expect next.

HEY THERE, you had your surgery on my birthday, how are you doing? i had lap band on 3/30/07 just 2 days before you. my first 2 days after surgery i spent throwing up and a migraine, after 2 days in the hospital,i started feeling good. i am on a pureed diet, then on tuesday i ate refried beans, not a good choice, it got stuck and for 2 more days i threw up, thank god the beans came up and i am good again. so i am learning. all new way to eat, baby spoon, 2 ounces each meal, i eat alot of baby food. hope you are doing ok, i think there will be good and bad, but worth it to be thin, and not very long till spring, that helps. keep us posted. Thanks for responding. I am 5'3" tall/short.

Can you tell me how to add the Location/Surgeon/Age and other information to my profile? I can't seem to find it, but it could be that I can only sit and look for short periods of time! My incisions are still painful. Thanks.

Hi Ladies,
To add the signature info at the bottom of your posts, simply go up to the header on this page...at the left side where it says 'user cp' click on that, then 'edit signature'...the signature is what shows up at the bottom of everyone's posts, and what makes us all a lil bit different! Welcome!

Default Welcome to another Lisa

There are lots of us Lisas on the forum. Welcome - and we call the "what have I done" feeling buyer's remorse! That may tell you how common it is. I was completely psychotic the first couple weeks. Your energy levels and your emotions will be better soon, I promise...welcome to the forum!
