Default Greetings

Greetings,

My name is Danny and I am currently (06 Apr 07) RNY + 15 days.

Was meant to be keyhole but ended up being open RNY and they took my gall bladder while they were at it.

Unfortunately post op I became C Diff infected and finally got out of hospital Monday, only to go back in in severe pain with a blockage on Tuesday. Well I am out again and feeling a little threadbare right now, I know it gets better, but am after safety in numbers and welcome any handy hints or tips.

on the Day of surgery I weighed 136.6 kg and am currently 127.9 kg. Just hope the count down continues.

Regards Danny

I am feeling for you. It sucks when things don't go the way you plan. You had the strength to choose this life saving surgery and you have the power to see it through. These complications will pass. You can do this!!!

Things will get better and your positive attitude will make that happen.

May God Bless you and yours..

I currently have a partial Blockage , I am still able to pass Gas. What did they do for your blockage in the hospital ?

This is just another bump in your path to a wonderful life...

Welcome to the forum, Danny. Yep, safety in numbers is the way to go! It sounds like you've had a pretty rough start of it. Its totally understandable why you are feeling a bit "threadbare". Please make sure you take care of yourself. You are #1 right now. Do the best that you can...rest, walk, and sip and then make sure you listen to your body! That is your job....the most important job you have right now.

Know we are all here for you when the questions and emotions come...and they will come. But we are also here to celebrate with you every step of the way! I'll be keeping an eye out for all of those "Wow" moments.
