Thanks for all your kind comments. I hope to settle down now after a bit of a scare and intend to take it steady.

I have managed to get Forceval multivitamins but the tablets are huge and I have a sneaking suspscion that it might have contributed to my blockage, so very much trial and error.

I will keep you all posted. It feels great to be on the winning side of the battle of the bulge now.

Regards Danny

Default Welcome, Danny!

Sorry you hit those speed bumps! Still, you're home now and on the mend, we hope! I had open as well (my choice, though), and he took my gall bladder too. I'm glad it's gone- so many folks here have, and are, having gall bladder trouble. Plus- I don't want to be cut open again if I can help it!

Vitamins- do chewable!!! I take girly ones, Viactiv multi-vitamin and the Viactiv calcium as well. I've heard many folks just do kids chewable, maybe do 2 instead of one. Check with your doctor for dosage maybe- but haven't you always wanted to bite Wilma's head off? There are all sorts of chewables out there, more than just the girly ones and the kid ones. CVS has one too...
