I am New here
Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and I am from North Dakota. I have been trying to have bypass for about a year and a half, and have finally make it through all the hurdles. I have surgery scheduled for Thursday April 26th, 2007!!! I am very excited, but starting to get a little nervous.

Welcome! My surgery is on the 12th....Everyone here knows how you feel about being a little anxious/scared. It's normal. Just remember why you chose to have this surgery in the first place. No one is excited about having the surgery or being in pain....they are excited about the new journey that comes with it.
Keep yourself busy. Make your "to do" lists, shop for your necessities, clean/organize your house, and time really does fly by!
Good luck and keep us posted on how things are going.
