Talking Mamasatch is in the house...

Hello all...my name is Andrea. I have been researching WLS for years and decided to proceed with it and am scheduled for open RNY on April 9th. I am also having a hernia repair at the same time. I am so excited and a bit scared.

I am a mom to twins, a boy Kadin and a girl Kiara. They are 4 1/2 and the loves of my life. I am married to my hubby Steve for 14 yrs(almost) and he is in the USAF. We live in San Antonio, TX. I am a SAHM and full time student getting my degree in elementary education. If I stay on target, I will graduate Dec 08. Can't wait!

Anyways....Thanks for letting me join and I look forward to looking around and getting to know everyone! Have a great day!

Default Welcome!

Gee, you're close to your date! It's so exciting. It's ok to be scared a little, but you shouldn't be scared a lot unless you're letting the twins operate! I had open RNY on 2/12, and my road has had very few bumps, so far. (Knock on wood!) If you want details, I have a thread under "Personal stories". Good luck!

Default Welcome

Had to look up SAHM (it's stay-at-home-mom for the similarly confused). We're scootching over to make room on the losers bench for all the April losers! You'll be down on the floor playing with the twins in no time at all. I'm married (27 years) to a retired AF MSgt, and was Air Force for four years myself. There are a number of military wives (and a few exes ) on the board. Welcome!
