Unhappy Glad to be here

Hi to all. I'm new to the site but have enjoyed reading so many of your posts. It's been very helpful. I am scheduled for Lap RNY surgery on 2/14/07. I'm nervous and having most of the feelings I've read about here requarding pre-op. ( you know: Last Supper syndrome, will it work for me, will I tolerate the surgery ok) I have my preop visit tomorrow. This decision is also difficult because I'm paying for it outright which means complications can get costly and I had better make this work. Whew!!!! I feel better now.

Well first off welcome aboard and congrats on your re-birthdate. The feelings and questions you are going through is normal. Keep that frame of mind of how much you are investing in this surgery, investing in your new life. Many blessings to you Rich.

Thumbs up

Rich,
I have my rny on 2/12 and I feel that last supper pressure big time but you know what I am sticking to my meal plan. I figure it will be a few less lbs that I will need to lose. I am nervous as well.

Smile Pre-op Visit this afternoon

Thanks for all the kind words from everybody. The Pre-op appointment was pretty anti-climatic. Everything is on go. My savings account is empty and I'm ready no nudge somebody over on that losers bench!!!!!!!
