Default Hi, I'm Sherrie

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sherrie and I just had my surgery 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I had to have the the "2 for 1" special -- lap followed by open the following day due to complications. Thankfully Dr. Callery kept me at ease through everything.

I'm sure I'll need lots of advice. My support team is desserting me next week -- my mom heads home and my husband goes back to work in Louisana.

Welcome, Sherrie!

Sorry you had to go through the 2 for 1 deal Things will get better. Make sure your support team babies you now since they are abandoning you! It might be for the best though...cuz I got really crabby during my early weight loss phase...LOL

Good luck to you...with Dr. C on your side, you will do great!

Welcome to the forum Sherrie! Sorry to hear about your complications, but it sounds like you're on track now. Just get everything in place before they leave and you'll be fine. Take care!

Hi Sherrie,

Welcome! I'm a two-fer myself...and it does slow down the healing process. Just be extra careful and take naps, follow your docs orders, etc. I'm so grateful for the surgery - but there were some times after the second surgery that I had doubts!!! But it does get better! Take care!
