Hi everyone. My name is Gabby and I live on Long Island. I am new to this forum and I can not wait to pick all of your brains . I just had my 1st consultation with my surgeon about the RNY surgery and I haven't completely decided yet what I am going to do. We will see.

Welcome to the forum Gabby! I'm pre-op too and as you will see this is the greatest group of people on here who will respond to just about anything you can think to ask (although you'll get more response if the word 'sex' is in the title--JK ).

Jump right in and know you're welcome here!

Default Welcome Gabby

Hi Gabby and welcome. I am pre op too. I have spent the summer talking to friends who have had the surgery and discovered this sight about a month ago. After picking my friends brains and visiting this sight almost daily for the past few weeks I am convinced more than ever that this is the answer and the life changing step that I need to take. I am up here in Canada and the process can be painfully slow but I am confident that this is meant to be and I am willing to keep the ball rolling. Happy reading and I hope that you find the answers that you are looking for. This forum is full of knowledgable, helpful and thoughtful people. Ask away.
