Hello also new here to but my father and brother in law both had the surgery it just really depends on how fast your body can heal. My brother in law had the surgery outside of the US and he flew home 7 days after surgery said it wasn't fun but wasn't that bad either.

Hi, I'm actually flying about 4 weeks after surgery, it's only an hour flight, but the doc seemed to think it was ok, she said that immediately after surgery might not be that great, but a couple weeks after should be no problem.

I had my surgery in Mexico, so I flew home 10 days after and it was ok. You should be fine that far out.
