I heard thru golds gym that some insurance carriers help with gym memberships. Has anyone heard this? I have tricare is there anyone out there with the same?

it's normally pretty easy to google stuff about tricare. just type in "does tricare cover gym memberships?" i've never heard anything about it personally.

...how close are you to a base? they typically have a few gyms, and all of them are free and open to you if you have your military ID.

Im pretty close to the base and i could use the gym there for free but they dont have what i want and need to stay motivated. The golds here is full of moms that come in to work out while their kids are in school. The gym onbase is full of kid recruits and sailors and im not comfortable with a bunch of men and my body yet.
