Cool uggg

Now that my new Surgeon has my insurance information, they have to verify my insurance again. I am supposed to call them on Thursday if I have not heard from them. What really bothers me is that they told me they would call me as soon as they got my old file from True Results and they didn't. If I wasn't persistant I would probably still be waiting.

I am not doing well playing the waiting game.

Mine was a terrible waiting game after I got the last of the paperwork done. I was ready to go down there and choke people. They dragged things out an extra three weeks before submitting to my insurance.

The good news is the insurance approval only took three days!

I don't play the waiting game either.

If I waited for them, I'd still be waiting on approval.

I called everyone EVERYDAY to just get a status update. I only noticibly pissed off one person, but meh - this is my life, so she can be irritated .

I had to switch docs through my process and if I hadn't been persistent I would have been waiting alot longer!

Just call and say you are checking to make sure they don't need anything else and ask how far along they are. As long as you're nice about it, they seem to be pretty good. I'm sure they have to deal with alot of impatient people! LOL

Hang in there. Call them on Thursday and in the meantime, research, research, research. =)

It seems that everyone has a different process with their doctors getting verification with insurance company. I am not sure if they are getting verification or if they are getting an approval. I would think the Dr would want to talk with me about what procedure I want and why before they submit for approval. I wonder if they are just checking to see if WLS is covered under my insurance... I would think they would know that if they were getting my paperwork from Trueresults... but what do I know?? I am going to not assume anything and just try to stay in the moment till Thursday. Thanks for listening to me guys. Sorry for the ramble!
