Default Kaiser will NOW do the sleeve

OMG When I got the e mail from my Dr after asking about the surgery he was like Yes, it is an option now. YIIIPPPIIIIEEEE,,, LOL Now I just need to figure out which one I want. I hate options. He said that since the sleeve is newer the stats arnt really further than 2-3 years. I really want to hear about both good and bad. Im still really new to the site and trying to figure out how to navigate to different forums. hahaha I just had to share this info.

Wow, that is great news! I read just the other day that United Health Care now covers the sleeve. I expect other insurance companies will soon follow suit.

The sleeve has been around for what, nine years? So there should be data that goes back more than two or three years, shouldn't there?

I feel so blessed that I got the sleeve. I feel it is currently the best wls on the market. It gives you every opportunity to help yourself, and can always be converted to the bypass or the switch later if you actually do need the malabsorption aspect. I'm soooo happy that this is the one I chose tho. I LOVE MY SLEEVE!
