Default Those who sent in pictures (to insurance comp)

I just picked up my records from my PCP....and am getting everything ready to take the to them surgeons office but I wanted to include some pictures too. Mostly because my weight is just a few pounds short based on the ONE time in 2007 that I was weighed. (one appt is blank and the other says refused...the last one is about five pounds too low for a BMI of 40) but I have tons of pictures I can include so they can see I was not skinny.

My question is this....should I inlude pictures that are just really recent or should I go back a few years so that they can see this has been an on-going problem for many years...I have a few pictures from 2005 where I had lost about 50 pounds--but, other than that--i am quite large from 1997 until now. I am just wondering what would be most useful.

Thanks a lot.

I didn't have to send pictures or anything to my insurance company, but if you're going to send them, I would think it would be best to send a few from different dates.

Hi, Kelly

I was going to send them from different dates but i am wondering how far back to go. I was thinking maybe five years since many insurance companies want you to go that far back, anyway. Mine only wants two years --- but I know many insurances want five. I have plenty of pix from the last five to ten years, i just didnt know how far back i should go???

thanks again.

I'm just guessing here, but ten years might be more than is necessary. I might go five, though.

You might check with your surgeon's office and see if they have a suggestion.
