Thank you guys so much!!! The doctor's office didn't give me a date but the case manager with Aetna told me July 31. I will know by the end of this week. This will soon be a reality, I can get off the medicine. Ms. Ready you have been such a blessing to me. I pray and hope we are in Texas having surgery at the same time or close to it. God will work it all out for us. I have a concern, my case manager told me they are doing it as a out patient procedure. I have to travel to Texas. I live 5 hours away. My doctor told me something different at the consultation. Has anyone encountered this before?

I live in Louisiana but Aetna states with my policy there isn't a "center of excellence", so I have to travel to Texas (closes one I found).

How will that work with your surgeon? Which hospital will you be using?
I had my surgery at Baylor Dallas - which is a Center of Excellence.

Methodist Hospital, I would have love to have it here in Louisiana, but if they will pay I will go. My children and husband will be here so it makes it easier for me.

I believe when they say an outpatient surgery that they predict you will only be in the hospital for that one day and be released the next morning. =]
