Default Insurance paid for my surgery!!!!

I am not sure how many of you are on medicare but being on medicare I chose to use a pffs company called Wellcare for my insurance and they told me before my surgery that as long as my dr's could show a medical necessity that they would pay for the surgery but that we wouldn't know for sure until after my surgery whether or not they would really pay for it. Well I went ahead with the surgery and waited and waited for the bill. I finally got it yesterday and they paid all of it but $125 of it. I am so relieved that they paid it the first time around and I didn't have to fight with them over it. The bill was for over $31,000 for my RNY and my hernia repair so I am glad I don't have to fork out that kind of money. Well for those of you who do have medicare you may want to check out this company for your medical insurance they are a great company and above and beyond what medicare offers for medical coverage they also provide vision and full dental coverage which is included in the plan. I couldn't ask for more from an insurance company than that.
