Talking Approved! 48 hrs., BCBS, Low BMI
This week couldn't get any better! Just got my approval tonight, about 48 hrs. later. I have Highmark PPO Blue (BCBS Western PA, Pittsburgh). My BMI is on the low end, but I kept above the minimum 35 BMI before approval (a measly 9 pounds lost over the 6 months). I only have one of the big comorbidities that count (hypertension) and lots of the minor ones that don't count.

If anyone ever needs help with this insurance send me a note (remember every BCBS policy is different, even within the same state, so you'd have to have the Highmark Policy to be the same as me). I can't believe it came so fast!

Who is your surgeon?

I have Mountain State BCBS and I was told i had to have 7 PCP visits so I have 1 more visit. I hope mine goes as smooth as yours!

Dr's. Colella and Uchal at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh...April 22! Can't wait. Wow, you've only got one more month (trust me time speeds back up toward the end!).
