That's probably my biggest fear.

I am sort of watching what I eat but I don't really want to deny myself from the occasional treat because it's not going to happen again after the surgery. I don't eat ice cream every day or cookies or stuff like that. I am a fiend for chips, so I bought pringles in 100 calorie packs. And even if I eat 2 (not at the same time, throughout the day lol) I don't feel bad about it.

I know that I (and all of us here) are getting ready to make a huge life long change (and all the better for us) but I think endulging a little it ok as long as it's not crazy binging that puts like another 50 lbs on.

That's my opinion at least, for what it's worth

Yeah, it is a weird thing....It's like I am so ready to get healthier, and lose this weight once and for all. However, now I am trying not to gain weight...and not lose too much weight. I will just be glad when I have my last weigh in then I can start doing what I need to do. I don't have to worrry about my BMI dropping below 40, because mine is so much about 40.
Oh well, I just have May and June to go and I will be over my diet history. I see Dr. Scott June 29th, and hopefully I will get my insurance approval really soon after my doctors appt.
It is cool that we are going to be going thru our surgeries around the same time frame isn't it?

I am so glad that I found this site, and you are right about having people to talk to that are going or have gone through the same thing that you are going thru.

Joy you said a mouthful when you said that. I am addicted to this site. I get nervous when I am away more than a day. I am looking forward to seeing the positive words and experinces folks face. I just can not wait until a year from now when we look back at this 6 month thread and see all of our comments and fears. It's going to be hilarious. This thread has gotten me more prepared for what's ahead for me and feel the most connected to. I am still all AMAZED how these 6 months are flying by FOR ALL OF US. April is gone and May is right around the corner. Sooner or later we will have to start a new thread in the POST OP section for us because all of our 6 months diet will be done. (WOW) I can not wait to be able to start that thread. Here's all my 6 months friends that I want to give a shout out too that makes this site so much fun:

Sparkles -Give you credit for starting this thread and replying with your motivating responses
Tess - You make me laugh all the time with all your funny comments.
BG- Your tips and inspirations lifts me to the next level.
Joy1968 - I feel like we are long distance twins. Alot of your experiences I share.
Justroni - Your kind words and step by step experiences you share makes me love this thread.
deputymaudlin - Just seeing your comments about waiting on getting approved. It's makes it just more real for me when the day comes that I have to submit my paperwork.
bubbleheadmom - Just seeing the excitement of getting approved and sharing with your 6 months friends first was soooo nice of you.
Elayne - You are the new kid on the block that has brought joy to our hearts. You came on this thread and fit right in. WELCOME AGAIN!

And to anyone I forgot, I just want to say "Thank You" for showing support to each other and we all want one thing and that is to "JOIN THE LOSERS BENCH"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
