Ok ladies, I called my insurance (bcbs illinois) and the lady I spoke to asked her supervisor...it is still 6 months for me, so it must be for different programs... Its not a big deal really, just means one more month! I went ahead and made my FINAL month apt for the 5th of October. Hopefully then it'll get submitted to insurance approval and ill hear something soon!

I have stuff crossed for you. I was assigned a Patient Advocate with my Surgeon's office. Do you have an advocate that you may be able to ping to help go to bat for you?

Three days and you cant reach a real person? What kinda doctor is this? Mine was sent last Thursday too. My insurance company said when I called Monday they did not see it but that doesn't mean anything. It has probably not been assigned to someone yet. Your making me nervous. lol. I dotn want to be calling them every 5 mins and get on anyones bad side but I cant wait until monday now. lol |

Good that you checked Chrissie. I know everyone has different programs depending on your employer. BUT on the upside of things, YOU only have 1 more month!!

I KNOW!!!! Ahhh.....i'm so close to the finish line i can almost taste it. Especially when i actually started the process LAST OCTOBER. But my moms issues came first, hers was more serious and i totally understand/have no problem with it.
In other news.......i got my samples from Vitalady this morning and i just now tried a sample. And it turned out GOOD! It's IDS Isolate Vanilla-Cinnamon. I put it in a blender along with 3 ice cubes and 6 ounces of skim milk and blended that sucker together! The result was a cinnamony drink that reminded me of the holidays.....was very delicious and i was surprised! So just from drinking that gave me 32g of protein...26g from the protein itself and another 6g from the milk. I can't wait to try another sample tomorrow!

Yes, I really liked Vitalady samples. They were yummy before surgery. I hope I get back to liking them again.

ok so i got in yesterday to drs office gave them new fax number and info. well i called today to talk to a particular person and guess what......no fax...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I called drs office and went off. its been 1 week since first supposed fax...and supposed fax yesterday..how can 2 faxes not make it??? So needless to say i told them to refax and told them everything to have on my papers and that I wanted it faxed as soon as i get off phone. and that they didnt want me comin down to the office. LOL
im so mad my face is bright red and hot..i feel so helpless ya know.
