Hey Tess, what name is it under? I'm under Megan Burgs if you want to look me up. I'm on the TT fan page.

I created an account to chronicle my WLS journey cuz there are some things people I went to Elementary School with just don't need to know.

(anyone can add me, I'm mburgs on Twitter too, but I'm really not that interesting).

Default I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All.
I'm home and doing great. It was not as bad as I thought. Thanks Sabrenia for the updates. I can't wait to hear the updates about you. I am so happy to be at home. Hope everyone is doing well. I can look at my body and tell that it has gotten smaller. Hope to hear from you all really soon.

LOLz, I just called Kaiser to follow up and after calculating meticulous answers to the written answer I didn't notice that some of the yes/no have yes first and some have no first

So I accidentally checked I smoke, have been raped, and have been molested. Not trying to make light of it as I know many on the boards are survivors but that is a big oops Glad I followed up

I am so sorry. He left his phone at home everyday. Why, I don't know. I think he was scared. The first day was the worse. Try to keep visitors to a minium. Time you wake up from surgery ask for a binding garment. When I started vomiting it was the best thing. Don't bring anything to the hospital with you with the exception of chap stick, cell phone, gas x strips and the clothes you wear. Nothing else even mattered. The first day I was scarred because I was vomiting blood and it hurt like hell. After that everything was fine. It was really not as bad as I thought. My mom who was totally against the surgery has been thinking about the lap band. Everybody that talked to me said that I looked and sounded really good. The nurse told me to walk 4 times a day, I did like 20. It's all mental. Tell yourself you will be ok and you will. If you are closterphobic (sp) ask them to put you to sleep before they strap you down. I know you guys will do great.
