I double checked the booket I received @ the orientation and it does say from classes 6-12 they want you to reduce your deit to 1200-1500 calories per day and classes 13-24 they want you to go down to approximately 900-1000 calories per day.

It's gonna be hard but I understand the reasoning. Not sure what the surgeons mandate as far as pre-op diet cuz that will be after. I'm excited nonetheless.

Hi, I had messaged Ms. Ready last night and I heard back from her. The full message is on my profile, I don't know the etiquette of if it's oka to post the entire thing...

Looks like the bariatric coordinator forgot to include her psych exam info with the paperworks sent to insurance. The coordinator isn't in until Monday so it's going to be a really tough weekend fo her.

She wants all of us to know she misses us and wanted to make sure the update got posted on this thead. She's going to be off the boards for a few days but should be responding to PMs.

OMG....That really sucks, and she was so hoping to hear some good news. I feel so bad for her.

Me too! Hopefully once they have the information it won't take long for it to go through. She's always so positive and encouraging, it's painful to watch her have to go through this!

We are all waiting with you..keeping our fingers crossed. I think the holiday weekend slows things down too. Although, it is a setback for Ms. Ready it is not a denial...which I know is not easy but we have to stay positive just as she always does.

That is true. We need to have positive thoughts, and I am sure this will be a quick fix. I still bet she gets her approval this next week.

you can order a DVD of before/after stories (I haven't seen the whole thing) for free, I'd bet they'd send it to you. there's several recipes, and well, just basic info. check it out if you like.
