I should have mentioned earlier that I did WW on and off for 2 years... it does work for me if I stick to it. But there is something frustrating about calculating the points. Seems that if I already know exactly how many points something is, I do better, but when I have to improvise, I end up falling off the wagon. I'm back now to the calories/fat thing, you know, simple: eat less, move more. It is kind of working, now if I could just will the pounds off faster... hmm.

I'm taking a group of 32 students and some parents/other adults to Dublin, London, and yes, Paris. Being a French teacher, I get the opportunity to travel pretty often (every other year with students, off years with my hubby). This is actually my 9th trip to Paris, I think. Hubby and I did Ireland last summer, Belgium in '06, and have done Switzerland, Bavaria-Germany, Austria, Monaco and Italy with other student trips. Its a pretty awesome perk, I have to say. I'm excited to go to England, as I've never been and we'll go to Stonehenge and actually...we're seeing Wicked on London's West End. I do love Paris, and always look forward to arriving there. We leave on Tuesday... so you'll be without me for 10 days!

Hit the gym for another 400 calories tonight! Wahoo! BTW - my nut tells me that machines over-estimate your burned calories by about 10%, so if you workout on a machine that tracks your weight and tells you the calories you've burned, you should put in 10 pounds less than what you actually weigh.

Hope everyone had a fabulous day!

That's so great! Wicked's really cool, I finally got to see it in Portland (the traveling show was in town for the week). I wouldn't mind being Toto, the loyal companion who unveils the wizard and protects Dorothy? Okay!

I like going to WW and having the official weigh in. It's difficult sometimes because some of the leaders and people there "only" needed to lose like 20 pounds. I had one leader in Las Vegas who was incredible. In the end it's really still counting calories, though I like how they try to show you that fiber is good and how it affects food's benefits.

No, way I would like my pouch the smallest that it can go. Everything in my mind is SMALL!!!![/QUOTE]

I know that's exactly how I was in my first info session, I was like can you just take it all out and I can go get vitamin infusions???

Awww, thanks. I'm laughing right now because my family makes fun of how I smile. I don't know if it's my teeth or that my mouth is too big for my face or my chin isn't long enough but my smile hardly ever comes out right in pictures They also call it the Chandler Bing Smile because there's an episode where he and Monica go to get pics taken and he can't smile.

Drum roll ladies......................I have just 1 more weigh in and I am done.......It almost seems like yesterday when this process started for me. I hope ya'll don't kick me out once I am done with my diet. I feel like everyone is part of my extended family and I would like to continue to share my experiences!!!!

Gosh, this is my last month too. I will be going on Tuesday for my last weigh in. I have an appointment with Dr. Scott on June 22nd.
Then my file will be submitted to the insurance company. Then I will be looking for that approval.

Actually, I am not that nervous..yet. I was in a depressed state of mind, but the hubby and I was on vacation this week. The sand, salt air, and time with my husband was wonderful. Plus, a l did some retail therapy before we left for the beach. I know that I am not going to wear those clothes next summer, but at least I will feel good in some new things this summer..lol
