Good lucky with the new doctor, hopefully you will be getting approved soon. I am just waiting for my date for surgery. Hopefully soon. Deb

If you have to do a 3 month diet with the new doctor, isn't that going to put you past the appeal period? Is there another option?

I found out that I have 180 days to appeal...NOT 60 days. Plus the Supervisor of RN's at Aetna knows what I'm doing now. We had a long talk about that yesterday.

Oh thank goodness! I was thinking it was 120 days. I read it wrong when you said you had more time to appeal! Yay! Things are starting to look up!

I have an appt with the doctor on July 1st @ 1:30pm. I can't wait. I only have to complete 3 months with him. Oh, and he also has also supported a couple of his own patients in having WL surgery.....so, he knows what kind of chart records and letter I need in order to get approved.

I'm actually excited about this. I'm hoping to have surgery in November 2008...if everything goes well.
