Talking Calling Oxford Paid~I'm "Approved"!!!
I called Oxford today to see how the process was going...also to see if my papers were submitted. Well, she said my papers were submitted on 5/22, but that my claim was closed out of 5/23. She said that with my insurance and my job requirements, I don't need pre-certification/authorization! I am so excited! I wrote down her name and all other information just in case. She was so nice too! I can't believe this! When Oxford says "no medical direction needed" they aren't kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said all I have to do is go to the surgery on my date, and the surgeon will submit everything. It's easier too b/c Dr. Bertha is in network! I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!! This is really going to happen!!!
