Default Yeee Hawww!!!!

I got my recommendation letter from the Nurse Practioner at work today. She sent a nice letter stating the diets I had been on, and my BMI when I started working there in 2005, and mine today... Which unfortunately is 6 points higher in just 2 years. I'm going to give the Dr's office until Tuesday on my Medical Records before I call.

I walked around work today with this goofy grin on my face... I know it isn't an approval, but hey its one step closer than what I was.

It may not be an approval but it's a step... and it takes steps to arrive at the destination.

I'm starting to get extremely anxious to get mine done so I can try to get that shunt removed. I hate being in this pain and I want it out of me now Unfortunately, even if I had the WLS tomorrow it would probably be 9 months or longer before they would be willing to look at removing it I think.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR>>>>>>>>>> SCREAMSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Well.... It looks like I'm still waiting for Medical Records. I called the Dr office today to see how they were processing... and what do I get.... A recording saying my Doctor is out of the country and the office is closed until June 3rd. I know its just another week... but it seems like an eternityyyyyy... starting to get aggravated, I'm not a very patient person.

Just needed to huff and puff a bit... sorry.

Well, I finally got all of my Medical Records submitted last week (had a time and a half trying to get my paws on these bad boys). The Insurance Specialist called and told me that I could go ahead and schedule my appointments for Consultation with DR., the Pych, and the nutritionist. She doesn't seem to think I will have any problems with getting approval.(Keeping fingers crossed) I'm so excited, nervous ... way to many emotions.

It's starting to sound like we really could end up being podmates or close to it. I'm still waiting for approval but I got a call last week from my Doc's insurance coordinator saying that I've passed step 1 of 3 toward approval. I'm totally anticipating hearing a definitive answer (which I fully expect to be YES) within the next 2 weeks.

So, I'm still optimistic about having my surgery at the end of this month or beginning of the next! Make your people hurry up so we can be podmates!

P.S. Still have a package here with your name on it but I slept too late to get to the post office on Saturday, will try to get my hubby to mail it this morning.

No problem about the package girl... just whenever you can get too it.

Work is awful right now.. I worked both saturday and sunday this week, and been pulling 10-12 hours each day. Believe it or not, we are on model year 2010-2011 cars. (2010 is major design change year for vehicles)

Anyone car/truck shopping.......DO NOT BUY A TUNDRA

Anyways, I still haven't got my appointments scheduled, I called yesterday but was on hold so long I was getting the evil eye from my boss so hung up. Will try tomorrow on my lunch hour.
