Unhappy what to do?

can antone tell me the difference of medi-cal and medicare i have medi cal i have pre diebetes htperthyroid sleep apnea and am eniemic also im only 25years old how can i get medical to approve me im just starting out what steps do i take im desperate

you can start with you primary care doctor and they will start the referral process. I'm sure as with medi-cal there is a sort of 6month supervised diet or physician supervised. I have the same insurance type except in Arizona and yep i had to jump thru hoops for a year and 1/2 but it was worth it

Medicare is a federally funded plan that you qualify for either because of age, or a disability and it has nothing to do with income levels. When you reach the 'golden age' it is automatic, or you have to apply because of disability.

Medi-Cal is California's version of Medicaid which is a state funded health plan that you typically qualify for because of income. I say typically because there are instances where disability comes into play for eligibility for Medi-Cal as well.
