Default BC/BS of PA ROCKS!!

And of course so does the surgery coordinator for Southern Specialists - Judy! She submitted my info to them as one neat package with all of the info they could possibly need and more I'm sure. This info was sent to them this morning, and already they called her back with an authorization #!!!!

Of course they said it could take a week or more. But she called them this morning when she sent the paperwork, and since surgery was scheduled for April 9th, they said she should have the answer by Monday... Well, here we are a couple hours later, and we have the Auth #...

My letter will still come in the mail, but WOW!!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!

Can you tell that I am excited? I'm doin' a happy dance in my cubical here at work! Anyone wanna join in?

Congrats on approval. When I called my insurance to see if a decision had been made and she told me yes, I literally cried!!! My coworkers thought someone had died from the flood of tears. That is how happy and life changing that one phone call was for me. When I got my approval letter in the mail. I framed it. I see it all the time to remind me how far I have come in 8 short months.

I concur about BCBS of PA! I live in Illinois, but the fact that it only took Highmark about 9 days to say "Yes" is AOK in my book!
