Aetna PPO reduced requirements
I got a call yesterday -- Aetna denied my inital filing. They are going to do a peer to peer this week or next with the dr who reviewed/denied at Aetna. Good news is that Aetna reduced their weight history requirments. This helps me out alot since i was preggers in the last 5 years and they dont take pregnancy weight. Now i only have to show 2 years of weight history. Turns out two of my past drs who my clinic requested records from havent responded! UGHH idiots! oh well. my clinic told me to give em another 30 days and they are working on the peer to peer and then an appeal. they did tell me though that the day i am approved i can schedule my surgery for as soon as i like even that week if there is availability! woohoo!
