UGH First, I will say I didn't have to lose weight to have surgery. I was just not supposed to gain any and I didn't. Secondly, I couldn't have lost weight if I had wanted too. I was 357 lbs and 5'3"! For crying out loud people, don't tell me I could have exercised. I could barely walk to my car to get in or to my mailbox to get the mail. I was almost in a wheelchair. I could not care for myself anymore, much less my children. I could not even stand to put dishes in my dishwasher. I fell and broke a bone in my back and was fastly headed towards complete and total disability. This surgery SAVED MY LIFE! Literally....... I had severe sleep apnea to the point I couldn't even carry on a coherent conversation with my family at times. I could no longer drive. It was hard to even bathe. Yes, I feel I was the picture of a pathetic person and I let myself get to that point, but "LIFE" is the reason I ended up this way. Circumstances DO matter! I am a single mother and struggled on a daily basis to feed my kids and I ignored my health and worked a sedentary job 24/7 for years just to keep the lights on and food in their mouths.

Now, with this all being said, I have to say that the people hear screaming "don't eat crap" and they have no sympathy for anyone that puts junk into their mouths, you make me sick and angry. If you are sitting here saying you NEVER eat something you are not supposed to and you are the perfect little weight loss angel, you are full of S*#t! Don't preach to these people about being perfect when none of us are. I see some of you talking about not eating crap and then posting you ate cookies! I know some of you that drink with your meals after surgery. I know some of you that don't exercise. I know some of you that drink sodas. So, don't cut down the ones that are struggling and are "honest" about it, after all, honesty is what you are saying you are giving to this thread. If you are going to be honest, stop beating the ones that put their problems out here for the world to see and asking for help or advice. Advice is not clubbing someone over the head. That is called making someone hate you and not listen to a word you say. And if you are going to club someone for eating something they are not supposed to, then get busy hitting yourself first because you are lying if you say you don't do it too! And Cindy, I just have to say that I LOVE that pic of you with your corndog at Disneyland. You are such a mischievious cutie patootie! MUUUUAH! At least you admit you eat crap AND you take pics of it! ROFL

In the end, we are all "normal" people with normal desires with food. We are not different just because our bodies process foods differently. I don't see anyone beating the skinny people of the world up for drinking a milkshake or eating a McDonald's large french fries......why? Because they are not fat like we are or were, so they don't get clubbed to death. But the fact still remains, it is unhealthy for them too, but we don't scream at them for cheating on a "healthy diet". We are all normal people here......just in different packages. Be nice to each other for goodness sake. Oh, and this is not directed at any "ONE" person, so don't go getting your butt all up on your shoulders. LOL The ones of you that are old timer's, know me and know I am not trying to pick another fight here. Just want everyone to be fair to each other, so stop all this garbage people.
AMEN sister! Man I miss you being around here!

I miss you guys too Jeanie! I am caught in the whirlwind of "life" again and it's flying 90 mph and it feels good to be able to stay caught up this time, just not ahead yet. lol I try to get here as much as possible, but I have been slacking lately because of my son's graduation, his g'friend's gallbladdder surgery (she lives with me because her mom left her for me to take care of), and trying to help my youngest daughter pass 7th grade. That was a full time job! LOL Anyway, did I say my son graduated high school?!?!?! Yipppeeeeee! I was a bawling, blubbering mess that whole day and night. Cried right through dinner. hehehe I am so darn proud of him! Anyway, maybe things will slow down now and I can make it in more now. Now, I want to see that belly of yours! I want pics g'friend. I just know you are so beautiful while you're pregnant. Enjoy it honey, it will fly by.......

Trina - you are always a rock of sound advice!! You have such a nice way of saying what you mean without coming across as being vindictive.
