I promise that I will look into it. I have to call my insurance company on Monday anyway. What I should do is forward all of my information to EVERY insurance company and tell them to "beware" of this doctor....that he is charging his patients $3700 more than whatever the contract is that they have with him.

I wonder if that is possible?

Massachusetts! lol It would be time consuming to do it that way. Also, you may become liable for slander. If the insurance fraud agency takes care of it it will all be "legal" and without your name being "out there".

I don't plan on putting my name on anything. I'm hoping the insurance company won't have to use it either. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to "prove" that I received the information, via my email account.

When did you attend Dr Jawad's seminar? I went last weekend. A friend and I drove from Melbourne to Kissimmee. Where are you from? How far will you have to drive to have the surgery? Oh, one more question. Did you do the 6 mo dr supervised diet? I will ending my 2 month soon.

I hate to say this but as this is what i used to do for a profession, the scum has every right to charge a admin fee. BUT my total advice to you is SEEK ANOTHER SURGEON not all surgeons are scummy like that one, even look online and see who your HMO is contracted with and then ask upfront about any hidden fee.
