I live in Kansas in the Wichita area and there is a woman in my support group who is a school principal and she ended up paying out of pocket for her surgery. I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear, but I just wanted to let you know that you're not the only educator who has this issue. I'm not sure how she was able to get the money to pay for it, but I hope that you find something that works for you.
