I paid $1500.00 for the dietitian and for the exercise physiologist for 3 years. I personally did not want to pay for them but it was mandatory with my surgery center. It was well worth it though. I would have given up a few toes to make this surgery happen.

I self-referred to a psychologist that was on my plan, but I'm not sure about the dietician. I know there's one in my surgeon's office & the clinic is listed as a covered provider on my plan so I have my fingers crossed. If not, I'm hoping Dr. Ganta will let me also self-refer to one covered. I cannot afford to pay my deductible + 10% for the surgery and all that $$ for a dietician.
