Medical~Community Health Group
I used to have Pacific Care, But after I had to stop working, I couldn't afford to keep the Cobra, (extended Ins.) So I'm on Disability, and got on Medical~ Community Health Group is the health plan I have. I was wondering if anyone has the same? And if the surgery was approved? Any huddles in the way? How long did it take to be approved for surgery? Help!!! Need answers! I have finished everything pretty much when I had the Pacific Care. Will I have to start over? I see my new PCP on May 9th. What do I do?

May I make a suggestion? Give your thread a name like, help please. I almost didn't read it, because when you are just skimming over topics to read you kinda pick out what you have knowledge about. I'm sure people would be happy to offer advice if they have it. I don't know the answer, but be patient, someone will.

Niiiiiiiiice.
So sorry my life got in the way of your emergency need for knowledge.
I'm really starting to get tired of the rude ass people coming to this forum, making just a few posts and expecting instant friendship, gratification, relationship, WHATEVER. Would you walk into a room and demand the people in it devote all their energy to you? Writing in all caps the way you did is the same thing as shouting. Would you do that in a room full of people you don't know and don't know you?
Why don't you take the time to read through past threads, using the "search" function and see if you can answer your own questions before you butt your rude ass into this forum?
How does it feel to be spoken to rudely by someone you've never met?

I think it's difficult to interperet "tone" in writing. We have to try to make a smile come across in the way we word things. A simple "Hey, anybody out there?" might come across better than "I thought this was a support group?" I think we all do better to assume everyone's intentions are good and give people the benefit of the doubt.
Anyway, you're welcome. Good luck with the insurance stuff, it can be a real hassle.

I see that you are a Dr. Callery patient. Å call to his office should get you a real answer or a direct call to your ins.
Best of luck,
Jenni

You were asking very specific questions about a CERTAIN type of insurance. Most of us here had to wait to see how our insurance played out, just like you are having to. A call to your provider, or to Dr C's office should yield some sort of ideas for you. Good luck, and welcome.

Seems to me that not responding to you was what you were complaining about in the first place. "Do you own this site?" Why don't you add "you're not the boss of me?" You tend to have paralysis of the exclamation point, which is just about the same as shouting. I went back and looked at every post you have made since you came on this forum before I responded to you. Every single post was filled with requests (such as "My husband needs a job" WTF??) and exclamation points.
People who come on this site and introduce themselves and show a little respect are welcome additions to the forum. Think of the forum as a room full of people. Would you walk into a room with, say, 100 people in it that you don't know, and raise your voice and start demanding answers to your questions. I don't think you'd make a lot of friends. And I certainly don't think anyone would want to find your husband a job. Use the same amount of respect that you would use joining a room of people you don't know, and I guarantee you will be accepted and welcomed.
By the way, whether I have taken my pills or not or even have pills to take is none of your business, just like knowing the restrictions of your medical insurance is none of mine. You don't make a good case for being a victim here, and btw, people on this forum don't take kindly to that, either.
