Hi there, this is my first time posting, although I have been lurking and gleaning all the help I possibly can from you all!!

I have been researching and trying to decide about WLS. I am fairly convinced I NEED to do it, and soon. I started out looking at the LapBand, but have decided I want to go with the VSG. I will post an about me thread soon...

Anyways, I am trying to find out if anyone else has had surgery here in Northern California? I'm trying to find a surgeon here that is experienced in the VSG and who might not be charging 3 arms for it, since I will be a self pay. My other option is to go to Mexicali and have Dr Aceves do it. Anyone here have some advice?
