Default Beware-Explicit op photos

My doctor has given me a copy of my op photos-very educational.I am going to try and scan them onto here.As I can't even do my ticker I don't know how well I will do.
If I don't have any luck my new tummy -probably is like yours. My Dr explained the new tummy to be similar in thickness to an adult index finger and about 40cms long.I don't know what your Maccas Thick shake straws are like OS but I envisage 2x of those would hold about as much as our tummies-about 100mls at the 4 week stage. The visual hit home like nothing else could.
Go to photo 4.The section with the X marked on it is what was removed.Above it there is a long tube. That tube is my new stomach. The drain you can see in the other shots was probably about 1/2 inch wide which gives another indication of the width of the new stomach.
The yucky yellow fat won't be there for much longer.Hopefully it has already decided to take off quickly!!

I just had a revision. When I saw the screen during my MRI my stomach looked like a little cap that you take medicine in. Let's just get well together. i hope you feel better also.

Default Wow!

I wasnt offered photos either. It is so amazing to me what laproscopic surgery has done. I cannot fathom why someone would have "open surgery", if laproscopic were available.

Glad to see you are doing well Vicki.

Default Vertical Sleeve

Lap is the greatest. Sometimes in my case there was so much scar tissue from a prior operations that in order to get the surgery done right my doctor had to do open. Its a bitch. Now how am I going to wear that 2 piece swimsuit.

I'm gong to ask my surgeon at my post op check up if I can look at my pictures. He may not want to give me copies, but I'm just curious to see them. I watched a sleeve operation done on youtube and it was so interesting and a little queasy too, as I am only 9 days post op. Thanks for sharing your pics!
