Noticing clothes is not something I do. I notice women but could never tell you what they were wearing.

Love your city BTW. I have been to Sydney several times back in the 90s.

Yes Aviator Sydney is a beautiful city.I live about 45mins from the centre and don't go in often enough.I never get tired of the harbour-love having lunch in view of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.Always feel very fortunate at those times.

Our state of Victoria is in a terrible situation at the moment due to bushfires. The expectation is that 300+ lives have been lost. The area hit is a beautiful area and very old in Australian terms. Most of the homes would have been old weatherboard and most do not have insurance. I guess most of us get it due to the likelihood of theft and these communities would have been the type where people didn't even need to lock their front doors ever.I taught in such a community and know how intertwined the families are. Those that survived will be very truamatised.

We live close to the bush but I wouldn't say we are in danger of bushfires unless it throws out a lot of embers in a strong wind.Had a close call a few years ago but generally we are OK.

The media are doing there bit to turn the terrible tragedy into a media circus.I know they have a job to do but they certainly must go home ashamed of their reporting techniques.

Default Sunday?

Your procedure is Sunday? That usually doesnt happen here on the weekend. Whenever it happens, your WLS will be a life changing event. I look forward to reading about your journey.

So sorry to hear about the brush fires. We have them too during dry months in certain spots in the US, although not often here on the Gulf Coast where we are blessed with ample rain (about 44" or 1.12m per year on average) most years. And I know now is the hottest part of the Australian summer. Our TT friends here who live in San Diego have to deal with fires pretty often.

I've been fortunate enough to visit Darwin, Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Alice Springs - so all over Australia. Perth reminds me of southern California. Darwin is like nothing else! Cairns (the hopping off point for the Great Barrier Reef) is breathtaking!!! Unfortunately I was always by myself, so it is a priority to take Bones to Australia and New Zealand if I ever manage to retire.

I was 65 when my surgery was done last September. I have had no problems with it at all. I spent 2 days in the hospital, and came home without any complications.

I am down 117.5 pounds in 7.5 months. I love the sleeve. it has been so easy to lose the weight. You just follow the plan set out by your surgeons office.

Be aware that there is absolutely no security on this site. I found a statement by me, about my entire surgical process, quoted exactly on another site that has nothig to do with weight loss.

I was 63 years old when I had my RNY and I wish I had done it sooner. But only because the benefits are so wonderful and I would have had energy to enjoy my grandkids while they were toddlers.

I had no ill effects because of age, other than that my skin isn't very elastic any more. But who cares! It' still better than being fat!
