Default Boy does Onderland feel good!

Hey everyone,
I know that I'm rarely on here but I've had a busy summer. I'm 3 and 1/2 months out from surgery and I'm now down 61 pounds and as of this am I hit onderland I weigh 199 pounds. When I follow the plan I lose 1 pound/day. I do have slip ups and I get very depressed. I stick mostly to protein and veggies. My day starts with 8oz. of water. Then I have my protein shake. Then I have a boiled egg and a piece of string cheese. Then more water. Lunch is usually chkn breast 2-3oz. More water in between. Supper is some kind of meat and veggie. Water. Some kind of cheese. Sometimes some pork rinds. More water. I love asparagus so I have that quite often. I don't exercise all that often like I was but I try to jog a mile here and there. When I mess up I slip into a horrible depression so I'm trying to stay focused. Also when the doctor tells you that you will eventually stop craving carbs it's true but when you slip up and start eating them it takes a few days to beat the cravings and it's hard but the cravings will end. I'm so happy that I had the sleeve and the longer I'm out from surgery the easier it gets. I bought my first pair of jeans from Maurices in a size 18 and boy do I feel good in them. My clothes are so much more comfortable then before. I can't wait to see what I look like 3 months from now. For everyone waiting to have surgery I just want you to know that it is tough in the beginning but it's truly worth it and eventually it just comes naturally. Good luck to everyone. Lisa

Congrats on being the latest arrival to Onederland. WLS is truly an amazing journey. Sounds like you are doing awesome, and what you say about the carb cravings is 100 % true. Love the avatar pic you look great.
