Default Couple of questions?? Please...

Hello everyone.First question ,What is the difference between the way you feel before and after surgery,For instance i feel a certain way right now(unbanded) if i were to get a Lap Band ,will i still crave food ,even though i probably not really hungry.Sometimes i eat not enough i feel but still want to get 3 squares meals in.I think maybe it is habit? Second ,Do any banders fee ,l maybe they made a mistake and it is too much of a sacrifice? Just curious JERRY

I'm sorry no one has answered you here so I'll give this thread a bump.

It is my observation that the cravings remain. Because there is no dumping with having a band, you can eat sweets and fats with no repercussions, hence, you can eat what you want, even high calorie stuff, though in moderation, and still defeat the band.

Weight loss with a band is tends to be much harder.

However, having had a band myself for a few weeks, done lap, I didn't feel like I had anything in me. I had a great recovery. I never had a fill, so I can't help there. I was still recovering when I had it removed.

Nearly 16 TEN pound bowling balls down... OMG, let me pinch myself!

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!
