Dumb question here: where does the port go?
i've seen some pics where the port is near your heart and some where it's near your waist. can anyone tell me which is correct?

It's by the umbilicus.

My port is a little above my waist. I think there is several places your Dr. can place the port. I did not have a choice as to where my was placed, but I have talked to different people with them in different places.

Sorry. I had RNY so I was not familiar with that term. The gal I work with sister is getting her first fill today, so I asked her. She said her port is on her right side by her ribs (a little above her waist area).
