Now that all the testing is over all i have to do is wait on my insurance. I called them this morning and they said all my paperwork was submitted and all I have to do is wait to see if I am approved. I just had to have an angioplasty ( heart catherization) before my cardiologist would approve of my surgery. I found out I have a 10% blockage. He says its nothing to worry about and my surgery and lifestyle change would take care of it. So now its be patient and wait.

i hope it gets approved ! did you do insurance-required the 6 month diet ? i will be starting that soon. i meet with the dietician & doctor in 10 days. i plan on starting as soon as i meet with them.

Thanks Karen, My insurance has required a 3 month supervised diet which I have 2 more months to complete and that should be it for me.. My surgeons nurse told me not to lose a whole lot of weight because if you do then your insurance will not pay for your surgery because they will figure if you can lose weight then you can do it on your own..I hope everything goes well with you.

i've seen some people write that the insurance companies are looking for a commitment to the plan, more so than the # of pounds you lose.
