I am not at all familiar with the banding. But it was one of my options and I am curious how it goes for you. I hope it's ok.....and welcome to the board....it's an awesome place.

We all have some bloating and tigh feeling after any stomach surgery as a reaction to having something invasive done. When are you scheduled for a chck up? Perhaps you're eating to much at once and need to take smaller bites.

Mine was sore for a bit. Tight would be a good word. I had no appitite in the beginning and then all the sudden it woke up. Take it slow and the gas was the worst. I imagine everything was bruised in there, and healing so that is why. Maybe I am crazy, have been called worse! LOL

Good luck!
