Default Gall Bladder Problems

Ok the dr's office called today and said my ultrasound showed abnormalities! Sludge and gall stones! I assume that means tomorrow at Dr costers office he will tell me I need it out? I hope if so they can do it Lap cause I can't afford another 4 or 6 weeks off work! I have been getting sick every night this week after eating stuff I have been eating without any problems lately. I hope he can do it Lap, I've heard that Gastric patients sometimes have to have open??? Help guys I need your info! Thanks Mike

Your story is and was the same as mine, full of sludge and gall stones, which ment only one thing, rip it out at the same time, and I was back at work after 2 weeks, the tech doing the ultrasound, ask if it had been bothering me, which it had.

I had my gall bladder out a year and a half after my gastric bypass and it wasn't a big deal. The doc said there was a chance of going open, but it ended up being all lap. Just watch out for the gasiness after

Was your wls lap or open? If it was lap that would probably increase your chances of being able to do it lap. If your wls was open you probably have a lot more abdominal scars which would make it more difficult to do it lap. Hope all works out for you. Let us know!
