Pushing Forward - Lap Band
Completed all my tests - weirdest was the physc eval - the trouble is I find humor in many things - had to keep telling myself - Just answer the question - No more - no less - no snapy comebacks!
Hooping to get things approved and move foward soon. The lap band seems to be the best choice for me as I am very very active playing sports 3-4 times a week - My metabolic switch is just stuck.

Welcome! Try not to be discouraged! I think its normal for the lap-band weight loss to be a bit slower, because you havent been "rearranged.)

You can try here for ideas. I would imagine you would want to eat the same as someone who had the RNY.. but not real sure... the diet part of lap-band takes enormous strength of character! I commend you! Here is a link I came across in my ramblings that I love..

Surgery Put Off
Well I was all set for 2/27 for my Lap Band - darn insurance co has not completed their end so - must wait a while - trying to schedule so I can still attend Clapton Concert in San Diego - March 15th - first things first. Been on 900 cal a day until surgery - lost 17 lb's so far.....maybe no need for surgery -NOT - been there - done that.
I see a number of you are east coast folks - my home town in Chappaqua NY - You know - the Clintons new "Home Town".
