Honestly, I didn't end up needing much. I took a comfy change of clothes to go home in......easy things to maneuver that streeeeeeetch. Of course your chapstick is important. Gotta have your C-Pap if you use one and the lung hookie jookie. I don't believe I neded much more. I barely read, but maybe take a little reading stuff. I was out of it part of the time, trying to drink part of the time, and walking the rest of the time......and I was there less than 2 days. Best wishes to you. I hope you can get your kids arranged. The older one hopefully will be a big help to you. Let us know when you are going.

AWESOME!!! Congrats on getting approved!!!
For the hospital: Simple..clothes for home, chapstick, slippers and a pillow. That's all you really will need. Simple! Congrats again..let us know when you decide on when you are going to take the plunge!

How exciting for you! Go soon if you can. I'd be a nervous wreck if I had to wait! You shouldn't need more than a change of clothes to come home in. walk and sip, take meds, walk and sip! Good Luck. Denise

Congratulations! From someone who's surgery got cancelled and rescheduled while in the pre-op area because of a cold. I wouldn't wait.
