Self funded.
Surgeon, anaesthetist, 5 day hospital stay including one night in ICU: £10,000
My surgeon was a sweetheart and saved me about £5,000 by doing my surgery as a private patient in an NHS hospital instead of the private hospital.

Here in Canada, we don't get to see the bill. I have NO IDEA how much it was. Our health care system pays the full bill and a panni afterwards. Arms and legs are not covered unless the doc has it as a necessity for health.

We do have LONG wait times though...3 years for consult and another year after that for surgery, unless you are lucky enough for a cancellation.

All together, my bills have been in the $38K range, but I have Capital Blue Cross PPO, and I'm only anticipating paying about $2K ($1K of that is for an assisting surgeon who was out of network). I got the bill just for the hospital the other day, and so far I owe about $350 from that.

I did have to pay a $1500 program fee to Dr. C (which wasn't included in the costs above).

My total bill was around $39,000. I have Humana. I have paid about $500.00 out of pocket and I have a $15.00 co-pay for each office visit post-op.

I had my Sergury in Stockholm Sweden. I did it at a private hospital and choosed to pay for it myself. It cost me totally 11 624,73 USD plus gas for my car to get there.

If i didn´t pay for it i had to pay in time instead. By the time i did my sergury it was a 5year long line in the hospital what i belonged to at that period.

I payed 6 154,27 USD for my Tummy tuck, and my boobjob was under the insurance so i only payed about 30 dollars ( 3 966,08 USD was the total prize)

Maybe fun to know the prices in other countrys aswell?
