Default Post op 12 days and great finally!!

i have enjoyed going 2 these posts 2 give my mind something 2 do besides eat.i had a miserable starting out but 2day i woke up wonderful!and i am so happy!hope it lasts all day. I found 4 me drinking diluted o.j.w/water 1/4-3/4 made me feel tremendously better.definitely ehlping me get over the pneumonia.i know we r not supposed to swallow extra liquid calories but i think i am supposed 2 get well 1st beofre i go up against gastric bypass. also the star kist albacore tuna w/a baby spoon of reduced fat mayo is perking me up. a 3 oz can does me for breakfast and lunch.when i woke up feeling normal this a.m. i almost went and ate a typical preop breakfast accidentally!!!anyone ever forget like that?

The times I did forget was when I was preparing my sons meals and as bad habits persist, I plunked a waffle fry in my mouth and quickly spit it out. It happens and a new normal sets in pretty quickly when you get into a routine

Well I never forget but I do agree you need to take care of your self you also have to keep in my that not attending to your pouch and your new pouch needs could leave you feeling sick and low on energy. Always protin first. I hope you are feeling better soon.
